Missions of Mercy
Since July 2000, the school’s students and faculty have participated in projects, providing dental care to underserved areas of the state. So far, the MOM project has provided more than $40.8 million worth of free dental care for 61,800 patients.

The represents the VCU School of Dentistry's annual international humanitarian mission and affords selected dental students, along with faculty, a remarkable global experience in humanitarian care.
Study abroad programs
Vua Banka DoitongThe VCU School of Dentistry are available to fourth-year dental students who are required to meet a number of criteria including academic standing and a strong service history. Students apply for the opportunity to experience dental education through partner institutions in Brazil, China, and Slovenia.
